Thinking of July, I can already imagine the summer vibes and my vacation plans in full swing. For this year, I finally decided to do something that has been on my bucket list for years, an experience that I had been dreaming about for ages. I finally headed out to London to become a part of Wimbledon!

Tennis and, more specifically, Wimbledon have always held a special place in my heart. From the iconic grass courts, the elegant tradition, players in all white, to the pure love for the sport of tennis, and of course, the famous strawberries and cream! I was over the moon, getting the opportunity to watch all the action live, in court.

The whole affair was nothing short of magic. Getting the opportunity to sit on the historic stands, cheering for my favorite players in high spirits, and getting to soak up the electric atmosphere left me in awe. The matches pushed one to the edge of their seat, as the thrill of every serve made you wonder what would happen next. And yes- the strawberries and cream were truly worth the hype. A heavenly scoop of rich, luscious cream topping up the fresh, sweet, and juicy strawberries felt as perfect as the taste of summer itself.

Wimbledon is a must-visit if you are a tennis lover, but even more so if you enjoy vibrant events. It brings out the best amalgam of British culture, with the sport and dash of style.

A Magical Detour: The Harry Potter Studio Tour

I went on to explore beyond the tennis courts, indulging the wizard in me with a visit to the Harry Potter Studio Tour — a childhood dream come true, from the days I had spent reading Harry Potter. The visit felt like actually stepping into the wizarding world. The sets, the props, and stepping into the actual Great Hall seemed too surreal.

As a Potterhead, I found myself completely enchanted by the attention to detail. Be it the spells or the costumes, everything was magical. The tour itself turned out to be very immersive, interactive, and a perfect way to balance my sporty Wimbledon days with just a little bit of fantasy and fun.
